oh god who gave up
overwhelmed by remorse
and is now scattered to the four winds

see, my hands are still holding you
across all the worlds; they still feel you
under the callous of ages of scars.

one breath, and you smile again
right there at my side, my companion:
for far reaches my wish, through the hearts
of all humans; far reaches my longing;
far...! and brings you together

from the flutter of eyelids, from
tears of fear, my beloved, and from the
failed steps whose tracks burned themselves
into nothingness.
