C/Sing Grade
One
Help, Problems
End Product of Grade 1: "Ability to see the source of problems"
Correction Lists needed: L1C.
Auditor Skills needed: ST 1 Auditor. Before starting the pc on this action fill in the FES Checklist for Grades and handle anything out.
Much of the Grades processes are repetitive
processes. They are done by TR 0-4, repetitive style.
In C/Sing Repetitive Style it becomes important to see the auditor does not Q
and A with the pc but uses TR 0-4 by the book. It is actually very simple. The
process is continued until EP is reached; then the next process is taken up. It
all should add up to "Ability Attained". There are actually three
clearly different parts to Grade 1: Objectives, Help and Problems. Objectives
are C/S'ed per C/Sing
Objectives.
C/Sing Help
"Help" is a subject of its own and not "Problems". The Pilot
suggested it should be treated as a Grade of its own, which would make perfectly
sense. Since that has not been done traditionally we are not introducing it
here, but would point out, that in C/Sing Help the C/S should make sure, the pc
actually gets the subject handled with TA and cognitions before starting on
"Problems". If "Help" doesn't seem to do anything for the pc,
get the pc D of P interviewed to find out what is holding it up and repair and
run additional items and processes until handled. Two Way Comm's followed by Prep-checks, L1C and other tools of Repair can be used on charged Help Terminals
obvious from the worksheets.
C/Sing Problems
Make sure the auditor uses crisp, repetitive style when auditing the Problems
processes. It is very different from Listen Style. Have it taped and corrected
in the auditor as needed. Otherwise it's just C/Sed as any other repetitive
process. Make sure EP is reached. Upsets are handled per "Auditors Rights" or with an L1C.
Before pc is sent to Attest the C/S has to make sure the pc has made the Grade. This should be expressed in good TA action worked into the Grade and worked out of it. The cognitions expressed should be relevant to Ability attained - not something else.
Ability Attained from Grade 1 is the following:
Awareness Level |
Grade name | Release name | Audited on | Prere- quisite |
Class | Ability attained |
3 Perception 2 Comm |
Problems Grade 1 |
Problems release | Help, Problems | Grade 0 | ST 1 | Able to see source of problems and make them vanish |
Re: Grade 1 - There do exist a compilation of all applicable processes developed by R. Hubbard for this Grade. They are published as HCOB of 14 November 1987. In the rare case, the pc does not make it on the processes included, the correct action would be: Go over the reports of auditing already done on the Grade (do a folder error summary). Interview pc about the difficulty. Handle any By-passed Charge (including missed earlier actions as needed). Correct anything found and flatten unflat processes. If necessary, use additional processes not run, including processes for the Grade from above HCOB.
